Minnesota Health Technology Association Poised For Industry Growth
DevicePharm has been recognized as a Foundational Member of Medical Alley, the Minnesota-based organization focused on growing one of the world’s most prolific centers of healthcare technology and delivery innovation. Medical Alley is home to the world’s most concentrated health technology group made up of medical device, biopharmaceutical, diagnostic, and digital health industry leaders. It is also recognized as the birthplace of the modern medical device.
Founded in 1984, and previously known as Life Science Alley, the newly rebranded organization is unique in its commitment to bring healthcare providers, payers, research organizations, biopharmaceutical companies, and Minnesota’s expansive medical device and diagnostics industry together in one association. While the scope of organization has expanded, the focus of Medical Alley has intensified. By bringing all of these healthcare players into one organization, meaningful innovation can occur outside of traditional silos. Ultimately, Medical Alley will be able to have a more significant impact on medical innovation, improvements in patient access, and cost-effective healthcare delivery.
DevicePharm joins Minnesota companies such as Medtronic, Mayo Clinic, 3M, Smiths Medical, and St. Jude Medical as Foundational Members of Medical Alley. DevicePharm CEO and Chief Strategy Officer, Clay Wilemon, said of the commitment to Medical Alley: “With the opening of our Minneapolis office, we have the opportunity to serve our clients with great marketing strategy and integrated marketing communications work. In addition, we have the opportunity to be an agent of acceleration for one of the world’s premier medical technology ecosystems, and contribute to global healthcare improvements. Being a Foundational Member of Medical Alley provides a great platform for DevicePharm to make a contribution to the Minnesota medical technology community that we now serve.”
